Signal Under Pressure is a free training game for incident commanders and on-call engineers. It practises the skill that matters most at the start of a major incident: taking in a flood of information fast and acting on what matters.
Pick a scenario and a difficulty. A live incident feed then scrolls past for a limited time, so read as much as you can. When it disappears, you answer 8 recall questions from memory, each on its own timer. Then you choose the 3 highest-priority actions from a list. Picking a wrong action costs nothing, but missing a right one does.
The debrief shows your score, the signals you missed and the reasoning behind the correct actions, so every run teaches you something about incident triage. Try a harder scenario once the first one feels easy.
It runs entirely in your browser as a React app, with no sign-up and no backend.
